Engineer Gbenga Oyefusi is an accomplished Civil Engineer with a wealth of experience in project Management and maintenance supervision. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. As a Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers and a registered Engineer of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), Gbenga has demonstrated exceptional competence and expertise in his field. 

Mr. Gbenga’s professional journey began with a stint as a Site Engineer at Union Civil Engineering Consultant and RAO Investment (Eleganza Group). In 1994, he joined Eterna Plc, a leading player in Nigeria’s downstream oil and Gas sector, where he held various positions and made significant contributions to the company’s growth and success. During his 26 years at Eterna Plc, Gbenga honed his skills and gained valuable experience in Lubricant Production, Engineering Maintenance, Project Management, Depot Operations, and Asset Management.  Mr. Gbenga’s exceptional leadership qualities were evident during his tenure as the Eterna Lube Plant Manager, where he demonstrated his ability to oversee complex operations and drive results. He subsequently served as the head of the company’s Engineering and Maintenance Department for five years, overseeing the design and execution of engineering projects and maintenance activities across the company’s operations.  Mr. Gbenga’s exemplary performance earned him a deployment as Depot Manager, where he managed the company’s largest asset, overseeing operations, logistics, and supply chain management. As the head of Eterna Plc’s asset management, he was responsible for optimizing the company’s assets and ensuring maximum value creation. 

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to Eterna Plc, Gbenga was appointed Operating Director/Chief Operating Director of 2015 Petroleum. In 2020, he voluntarily retired from Eterna Plc to join 2015 Petroleum and Investments Limited, where he continues to bring his extensive knowledge and experience to bear.
