Mr. Sokoya Adeoye Samson is a highly qualified and experienced professional, holding the title of Managing Director/CEO. He is a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, with a First Degree in Finance from Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, an MBA (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, and a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Adeoye has gained extensive experience in audit, accounting, and process review across all business cycles. He has worked with reputable firms such as Bode Ogunleye and Co, BDO International Audit, Mart Energy Services, and NRG Drilling Nigeria Limited. Notably, he has set up and led the Internal Control and Audit functions in several organizations, including Eterna Plc, a prominent Nigerian company listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
During his tenure as Head of Business Transformation at Eterna Plc, Mr. Adeoye demonstrated his exceptional capacity for Corporate Planning & Strategy in various initiatives, such as the Sage ERP roll-out, trading activities, and strategic sourcing decisions. He was responsible for overseeing Oil Trading & Strategic Sourcing and rose to the position of General Manager, Corporate Planning & Strategy. In this role, he was in charge of the Oil Trading function, including products sourcing, importation, and vessel operation logistics.
With over 17 years of combined experience in the Oil and Gas industry, including 15 years in the downstream sector, Mr. Adeoye has built a reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry. He retired voluntarily from Eterna Plc in 2020 to join 2015 Petroleum and Investments Limited, where he continues to apply his expertise and leadership skills. His track record of success and commitment to excellence make him a valuable asset to any organization.
